The Enphase 3-Phase Q-Relay (Q-RELAY-3P-INT ) is an intelligent 4-pole decoupling protection device designed for photovoltaic installations with Enphase IQ7 and IQ8 series microinverters. It continuously monitors the grid and automatically disconnects the microinverters in the event of a grid fault, in accordance with strict European regulations.

The Q Relay incorporates a system of 4 red/green LEDs for easy diagnosis:

Installation and commissioning

The three-phase Q Relay must be installed by a certified Enphase installer:



  1. DIN rail mounting: Install the relay in the AC electrical panel on a 35mm DIN rail.
  2. Input connection: Connect the 3 phases + neutral from the main switchboard to the relay input terminals.
  3. Output connection: Connect the relay outputs to the Enphase microinverters (via AC connection box)
  4. Envoy-S connection: Connect the relay to the Envoy-S gateway (PLC connection via mains)
  5. Software configuration: Set up the relay via the Enphase Installer App (number of phases monitored, thresholds, etc.)
  6. Function test: Check diagnostic LEDs and display in Enlighten
