The Enphase Q Relay (reference Q-RELAY-1P-INT) is a high-performance grid disconnection protection device. This product is a safety device that physically isolates your photovoltaic installation in the event of a fault on the public grid, ensuring the safety of workers and compliance with VDE standards.

This accessory is specifically compatible with Enphase microinverters from the IQ7 series (IQ7, IQ7+, IQ7X, IQ7A) and the IQ8 range. This device secures energy production by integrating with the Envoy-S ecosystem. It communicates via the PLC protocol to control bipolar disconnection (phase and neutral) as soon as a voltage or frequency anomaly is detected.

Its installation on a standard DIN rail (53 mm wide) facilitates its integration into AC cabinets. Thanks to its intelligent management, it allows automatic reset as soon as the network parameters become stable again, thus optimising the production time of your solar panels.

In Enphase installations, the single-phase Q relay (decoupling protection) acts as a physical grid disconnection device for single-phase installations.
In the event ofspecific grid faults, the Q relay disconnects Enphase microinverters from the AC grid. When voltages and/or frequencies return to acceptable ranges, the Q relay reconnects the system.
The Q relay works in conjunction with the Envoy-S, and ensures that both neutral and phase conductors are disconnected according to grid requirements.
