Integrated heating technology: No more winter limitations

The key feature of the EL-A05 is its optional heating function*. Unlike standard lithium batteries, which lose performance or refuse to charge below 0°C, this system is a game-changer:

• Performance in extreme cold: Thanks to its thermal system, it supports a discharge range from -20°C to 55°C.
• Active thermal protection: The heating system maintains the cells at an optimal temperature, thereby extending their lifespan even in an uninsulated garage or outdoors.
• Safe charging: The system ensures that charging begins under ideal safety conditions for LiFePO4 chemistry.
• Unrestricted installation: Its IP65 rating, combined with the heating system, allows for safe installation outdoors or in uninsulated areas such as a garage, basement or utility room.

Important note: The built-in preheating function can only be activated with certain specific inverters (notably the Deye range). Please check your inverter’s compatibility to benefit from this option in cold weather.

As part of our commitment to regulatory compliance and environmental responsibility in Belgium, we would like to inform our customers that the purchase of a Leapton EL-A05 lithium battery is subject to a mandatory environmental levy.

An amount of € 124.27 excluding VAT must be added for each battery purchased, as a direct contribution to Bebat, the organisation responsible for the management of batteries and accumulators in Belgium. This measure is in accordance with current Belgian environmental legislation.

Important: When purchasing a lithium battery, please add the corresponding product "Bebat Leapton EL-A05 Environmental Levy" according to the number of batteries you are ordering. Otherwise, we will recalculate and invoice the amount after the purchase.
