It consists of 24 Hoppecke OPzS 2170 liquid electrolyte (ventilated lead-acid) batteries and is delivered ready for use with the necessary connections for connecting the battery bank. It is designed for stand-alone solar energy applications and industrial installations, with a stated cycle life of up to 1,500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge and up to 8,000 cycles at 20%.

Hoppecke opzs are single-cell vented batteries with liquid electrolyte (dilute sulfuric acid). They are ideal for applications requiring many charge-discharge cycles (solar applications). The tubular design of the plates ensures more efficient charging current and good stability during use. These Hoppecke batteries have a long service life and are suitable for cyclic use.
