The Deye SUN-80K-SG02HP3-EU-EM6 is the benchmark three-phase hybrid inverter for high-power commercial solar projects. With its 6 independent MPPT trackers, dual high-voltage battery input (160–1000 Vdc ) and UPS switchover in under 4 ms, it seamlessly coordinates solar generation, storage and the grid at demanding industrial, commercial, agricultural or community sites. Its ability to be paralleled with up to 10 units to reach 800 kW makes it a scalable solution with no limit on installed power.






6 independent MPPT trackers for maximised solar generation

The inverter incorporates 6 independent MPPT trackers, each accepting 2 strings and an input current of 36A, giving a maximum short-circuit current of 54A per tracker. The MPPT voltage range extends from 150 to 850 Vdc, with a maximum PV voltage of 1,000 Vdc and a nominal PV input voltage of 650 Vdc. The maximum accepted PV power is 128,000 Wp. This high number of independent MPPT trackers is particularly well-suited to multi-pitch roofs, multiple orientations (East/West/South) or installations combining arrays of panels with different tilt angles, preventing any interference between strings. MPPT efficiency exceeds 99%, ensuring near-perfect extraction of available energy.






Dual high-voltage battery inputs 160–1000 Vdc

The SG02HP3-EU-EM6 features two independent battery inputs, each supporting up to 80A on charge and 80A on discharge, totalling 160A. The battery voltage range of 160 to 1,000 Vdc — the widest in the Deye range — ensures maximum compatibility with high-voltage lithium-ion batteries on the market. BMS communication is self-adaptive via CAN or RS-485, without the need for complex manual configuration. The dual input allows two separate battery banks to be connected, providing either storage redundancy or increased energy capacity without additional equipment. The maximum discharge current also reaches 80 + 80 A, enabling stored energy to be delivered rapidly during peak consumption periods.






UPS mode: switchover in less than 4 ms

In the event of a mains failure, the Deye 80 kW switches to stand-alone mode in less than 4 ms, ensuring uninterrupted power supply to sensitive loads without any perceptible interruption. This ultra-short switchover time makes it suitable for powering servers, industrial PLCs, control systems, medical equipment or any load for which even a micro-outage would be problematic. This performance is comparable to that of dedicated industrial UPS units, with the added advantage of integrated management of solar generation and storage.






Phase imbalance tolerance: up to 100%

The SG02HP3-EU-EM6 supports a phase imbalance of 100%, meaning that a single phase can be loaded at full power whilst the other two are at zero, without the inverter derating or triggering a protection. This high tolerance is essential in industrial and commercial environments where heavy single-phase loads (ovens, single-phase compressors, lighting, IT equipment) are unevenly distributed across the three phases of the three-phase grid.






Multiple operating modes

The inverter supports all operating modes of a professional hybrid system:

The Deye SG02HP3-EU-EM6 features an integrated energy management system (EMS) that automatically controls the flow between sources (PV, battery, grid, generator) according to parameters set by the installer. The six programmable time slots allow you to define when the battery charges from the grid (typically at night during off-peak hours), when it discharges to the loads (peak hours), and to what depth of discharge. This fine-grained management is particularly cost-effective in contexts involving dynamic pricing, load shedding contracts, or sites subject to contracted power limits. The lithium-ion battery charging strategy automatically adapts to the connected BMS, without manual intervention.






Parallel connection of up to 10 units — up to 800 kW

The Deye 80 kW can be combined with 9 other identical units to achieve a total power of 800 kW in a parallel configuration. This modularity, which requires no specific coupling equipment, allows the installation to be sized according to current needs and then gradually expanded without altering the architecture of the existing system. Communication between inverters is via RS-485. 1 • The icon in the centre of the home screen indicates that the system is operating normally. If it displays "comm./F01~F64", this means that the inverter has communication errors or other errors. The error message will appear below this icon (errors F01-F64; details of the errors can be viewed in the System Alarms menu).

2 • The time is displayed at the top of the screen.

3 • System configuration icon. Press this button to access the system configuration screen, which includes basic configuration, battery configuration, grid configuration, system operating mode, generator port usage, advanced functions and Li-Ion battery information.

4 • The main screen displays information regarding solar, grid, load and battery. It also indicates the direction of energy flow using arrows. When power approaches a high level, the colour of the panels changes from green to red, allowing system information to be clearly viewed on the main screen.



- PV power and charging power always remain positive.

- A negative grid power reading indicates power being sold to the grid; a positive reading indicates power being drawn from the grid.

- A negative battery power reading indicates charging; a positive reading indicates discharging.



Touchscreen LCD and local monitoring

The integrated touchscreen displays real-time energy flows between the four sources: PV, grid, battery and loads, with animated arrows indicating the direction. When power approaches a high threshold, the colour of the indicators changes from green to red to alert the operator. The interface provides access to the following configuration menus:

PV power and load power are always displayed as positive values; negative grid power indicates power being sold to the grid, whilst negative battery power indicates charging.
