Specific Information for Belgian Customers – Bebat Tax

As part of our commitment to regulatory compliance and environmental responsibility in Belgium, we would like to inform our customers that the purchase of a Leapton EL-A16 lithium battery is subject to a mandatory environmental levy.

An amount of €346.80 excluding VAT must be added for each battery purchased, as a direct contribution to Bebat, the organisation responsible for managing batteries and accumulators in Belgium. This measure is in accordance with current Belgian environmental legislation.

Important: When purchasing a lithium battery, please add the corresponding product “Bebat Leapton EL-A16 Environmental Levy” according to the number of batteries you are ordering. Otherwise, we will recalculate and invoice the amount after the purchase.
