As part of our commitment to regulatory compliance and environmental responsibility in Belgium, we wish to inform our customers that the acquisition of a Leapton EL-A16 lithium battery is subject to a mandatory environmental contribution.

An amount of €346.80 excl. VAT must be added for each battery purchased, as a direct contribution to Bebat, the organization in charge of managing batteries and accumulators in Belgium. This measure complies with current Belgian environmental legislation.

Important: When purchasing a lithium battery, please add the corresponding product "Bebat Environmental Contribution Leapton EL-A16" according to the number of batteries you order. Otherwise, we will recalculate and invoice the amount after the purchase.

This system allows the battery to dissipate heat without the help of mechanical fans. The result: completely silent operation and a reduction in failures related to moving parts, which is ideal for an installation near living areas.
8. What is the Bebat tax for customers in Belgium? +
In accordance with Belgian legislation, the purchase of an EL-A16 battery is subject to an environmental contribution of €346.80 excl. VAT. This amount is paid to the Bebat organization to finance the future recycling of the battery. Don't forget to add this mandatory product to your basket when ordering.
