The Acti9 A9F64250 two-pole circuit breaker simultaneously protects the phase and neutral of your residential, commercial or small industrial electrical circuits. With a rating of 50A and a type C trip curve, it is suitable for sockets, lighting, small motors and AC auxiliary circuits in photovoltaic installations.
Its magnetothermal technology combines thermal protection (against overloads) and magnetic protection (against short circuits up to 500A). Its breaking capacity is 10 kA at 400V AC, guaranteeing safety and reliability.
The 36 mm modular circuit-breaker is easy to install on 35 mm DIN rail, with terminals accepting cables up to 25 mm². It offers high durability (20,000 mechanical cycles, 10,000 electrical cycles) and IP20 protection.

The Schneider Acti9 A9F64250 modular circuit breaker is a 2-pole, 50-amp electrical protection device designed to protect your residential, commercial and small industrial circuits. Certified to IEC 60898-1, this thermal-magnetic device combines robustness, reliability and easy installation to guarantee the safety of your electrical installations.
Complete two-pole protection for your electrical circuits
This 2-pole 2P circuit breaker simultaneously protects phase and neutral, ensuring complete circuit breaking in the event of an overload or short-circuit. With its 50 amp rating and type C tripping curve (magnetic tripping 5 to 10 times the rated current), it's ideal for circuits including sockets, lighting, small single-phase motors and domestic or commercial equipment.
The breaking capacity is 10 kA at 400V AC, guaranteeing effective protection even in environments where short circuits can generate high currents. The rated voltage of 400V AC (insulation voltage 440V AC) allows safe use in single-phase or light three-phase.
Schneider Electric magnetothermal technology
The mechanism incorporates a dual thermal and magnetic protection system:
- Thermal protection (bimetallic strip): progressive tripping in the event of prolonged overload (1.13 to 1.45 In), effectively protecting the cables against overheating.
- Magnetic protection (coil): instantaneous tripping (< 10 ms) in the event of a short-circuit (5 to 10 times the rated current), i.e. between 250A and 500A for this 50A model.
This dual protection guarantees safety and reliability, while limiting nuisance tripping thanks to the C curve adapted to moderate resistive and inductive loads.

NF C 15-100 and RGIE compliance: The 50A circuit-breaker is suitable for copper cables with a current-carrying capacity ≥ 50A. The rating remains lower than the cable's current-carrying capacity, ensuring optimum protection in accordance with current standards.
