1. Which solar battery should I choose: lithium (LiFePO4) or AGM/GEL? +
LiFePO4 lithium is often preferred for self-consumption thanks to its long lifespan (cycle count). AGM/GEL can also be suitable depending on budget and use. To compare, use the battery comparison guide.
2. How do I size a solar battery in usable kWh? +
Think in terms of usable kWh (actually available energy) based on your goals: self-consumption, backup or off-grid. To estimate PV production and refine sizing, use the Solar Simulator.
3. Which voltage should I choose (12V, 24V, 48V, 51.2V or high voltage)? +
Voltage depends on your system and inverter. 12/24/48V is common in off-grid setups, while some systems use high voltage. Always check compatibility with your equipment.
