"An all-in-one solar energy solution".

GX products are Victron's state-of-the-art monitoring solution. The family consists of the various GX products and their accessories.

The Victron EasySolar-II GX integrates the following components

• A powerful MultiPlus-II inverter/charger
• A SmartSolar MPPT solar charge controller
• A GX device with 2x 16-character display.

These components are supplied pre-wired and integrated in a single housing. This greatly simplifies most installations, saving time and money.

Display and Wi-Fi

The display reads the parameters of the solar charge controller, battery and inverter.
The same parameters can be accessed from a smartphone or a device with a WiFi connection.
Wi-Fi can also be used to configure the system and change settings.

VRM application for Wi-Fi

Allows you to supervise and direct your Victron Energy system from your smartphone and tablet.
Available for iOS and Android.

VRM Portal

The free remote monitoring website (VRM) displays all your system data in graphical form. On the portal, you can modify system parameters remotely. You can receive alerts by e-mail.

Solar charge controller

The DC output of the SmartSolar MPPT is wired in parallel with the DC connection of the MultiPlus-II inverter/charger.
The MultiPlus-II on/off mechanism also controls the SmartSolar MPPT.

The integrated GX device includes

- A VE.Can interface. The interface can be used to connect Victron VE.Can devices (such as VE.Can MPPTs), or the port can be reconfigured using the remote console for use with a compatible CAN-bus Li-ion battery.
- One USB port
- Ethernet port
- One VE.Direct port
The GX device controls the MultiPlus-II with a VE.Bus connection and the SmartSolar MPPT with a VE.Direct connection.

Online network topology

The EasySolar-II GX will use excess PV power to charge batteries or feed energy back into the grid, and will use battery or grid energy to compensate for a lack of photovoltaic energy. In the event of a power failure, the EasySolar-II GX will disconnect from the grid and continue to supply power to loads.
Loads that need to be switched off when AC input power is not available can be connected to a second output (not shown). These loads will be taken into account by the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions to limit the AC input current to a safe value.

Grid-parallel topology

The EasySolar-II GX will use data from the external AC current sensor (order separately) or wattmeter to optimize self-consumption and, if necessary, prevent energy injection into the grid. In the event of a power failure, the EasySolar-II GX will continue to supply critical loads.
