It ensures that the battery is optimally charged by regulating voltage and current. The regulator protects the battery from overcharging and overdischarging, helping to extend its life.

There are two types of solar regulator on the market: PWM solar regulators and MPPT solar regulators.

PWM solar regulators are highly efficient and optimize battery charging. They currently offer the best value for money of all available regulators.
