Avasco SolarSpeed Photovoltaic Mounting System: Performance and Speed
Why choose Avasco for your solar installation?
The Avasco SolarSpeed system is the benchmark for flat roofs. Designed to maximise your energy yield, it combines exceptional durability with unrivalled ease of installation.
Optimised 10° tilt: The perfect balance between energy production and panel density on the roof.
Zinc-Magnesium Steel: A self-healing technology offering far superior corrosion protection to standard galvanisation.
Universal compatibility: Suitable for all solar panels from 1640 mm to 2210 mm (60 and 72 cells).
“Fit & Click” installation: Save time on your projects
Reduce your labour costs thanks to the patented Fit & Click frame. The base units arrive pre-assembled, minimising the number of components to handle and ensuring a secure installation in record time.
Included: The system is supplied complete with all mounting clamps.

FAQ - Avasco SolarSpeed Portrait 10° System
1. What sizes of solar panels can be installed?+
The SolarSpeed system is available in two size configurations to suit your equipment: a version for panels from 1640 to 1899 mm and a version for large modules ranging from 1899 to 2210 mm. This flexibility allows almost all types of high-power panels to be installed in portrait orientation.
2. Can this system be installed directly on the ground?+
Absolutely. Although it is ideal for flat roofs thanks to its perforation-free installation, the SolarSpeed Portrait is also perfectly suited for ground-mounted installation. It is a robust and quick solution for creating a small solar array for self-consumption in a garden or on a flat surface.
3. What is the fixed tilt of the structure?+
This structure offers a fixed tilt of 10°. This angle has been specifically chosen to provide excellent energy yield whilst minimising wind resistance (sail effect), thereby reducing the amount of ballast required on your roof or on the ground.
4. How is the ‘click’ assembly an advantage?+
Avasco’s patented system allows for ultra-fast click-together assembly, with no screws required for the structure. The profiles arrive pre-assembled, which guarantees considerable time savings on site and ensures perfect structural stability without the risk of missing a fastening.
5. Why is Magnelis steel used for this kit?+
Magnelis steel is chosen for its exceptional corrosion resistance, which is far superior to that of conventional galvanised steel. This ensures the longevity of your installation, even when installed outdoors on the ground or on roofs exposed to the elements, whilst guaranteeing the watertightness of the metal structure.
6. How is ballasting managed on this self-supporting system?+
Stability is ensured by placing slabs or gravel directly onto the base profiles provided for this purpose. This ballasting method keeps the panels securely in the vertical position without mechanically fixing the structure to the substrate, thereby preserving the flat roof’s waterproofing.
