The ABB-Vynckier EP32C63 modular circuit breaker is a two-pole electrical protection device designed to protect your circuits against overloads and short circuits. With its rated current of 63A and its C trip curve, it fits perfectly into residential and tertiary photovoltaic installations.
This 63A two-pole circuit breaker can be used in a wide range of photovoltaic configurations:
Tripping curve C (between 5 and 10 × In) is suitable for general circuits with moderate inrush currents:
💡 Good to know: Vynckier's EP30/EP32 series is now produced under the ABB brand since the takeover of Vynckier. You can receive either a product marked "Vynckier" or "ABB" depending on stocks, as both are strictly identical technically.
The EP32C63 circuit-breaker can be integrated into several of Wattuneed's typical configurations:
Installation: Clip the circuit breaker onto a 35mm DIN rail in your electrical cabinet. Allow 2 modules in width (36mm).
Connection: Follow the wiring diagram supplied. Use cables rated for 63A (minimum 16mm² copper for short circuits). Tighten the terminal screws with an appropriate torque (2.5 Nm).
Selectivity: Upstream, install a circuit breaker or differential switch with a higher rating to ensure selectivity.
⚠️ Safety: Electrical equipment must be installed by a qualified electrician. Always switch off the power supply before carrying out any work. Check that your installation complies with standard NF C 15-100 (France) or RGIE (Belgium).
