Designed for large-format residential and commercial solar panels, it is perfectly suited to bifacial, half-cell and high-efficiency modules. The heart of the IQ8P is an ASIC (application-specific integrated circuit) developed by Enphase. This intelligent semiconductor component enables the microinverter to operate reliably in grid-connected mode, while meeting the requirements of modern smart grids. With over a million hours of cumulative testing, the IQ8 series sets a new standard for robustness. This microinverter comes with an exceptional 25-year manufacturer's warranty.
The IQ8P is compact, lightweight and features ready-to-use connectors for rapid installation. Installation is facilitated by simple two-wire cabling. It uses PLC (Power Line Communication) to exchange data between system components, reducing wiring and simplifying installation.
Thanks to its double-insulated enclosure (Class II) and integrated quick-stop function, the IQ8P complies with international safety standards: UL 1741, IEEE 1547:2018, IEC/EN 62109-1 and -2, and is designed for safe operation even in demanding environments. The device also complies with CA Rule 21 and the latest network requirements.
The IQ8P can be configured to suit a wide range of network profiles, and receives automatic remote updates. It is compatible with Enphase accessories: IQ gateway, IQ cables, and integrates seamlessly into a complete Enphase system. Please note: it cannot be mixed with previous generations of microinverters (IQ7, IQ6, etc.).
