The Fronius Symo GEN24 Plus, with power classes from 3 to 10 kW, is the ideal hybrid inverter for private customers. With numerous standard features, the three-phase device covers all customer requirements. The GEN24 Plus leaves nothing to be desired with numerous features such as energy management functions, WLAN connection as standard, Ethernet connectivity and easy integration of third-party components. Thanks to a selection of backup power options (PV Point, full backup) in particular, it ensures the highest degree of power supply reliability.
As a leading manufacturer of inverters, we offer a data communication package comprising all the following functions: Datalogging, WLAN, Ethernet, energy management, web server and numerous interfaces. The inverter is connected to the Internet via a network cable or WLAN - without any additional wiring - and you benefit from an optimum overview of the photovoltaic system's operation. Interfaces such as SunSpec Modbus TCP, SunSpec Modbus RTU or Fronius Solar API (JSON) enable connection to third-party components. Open interfaces can also be used in conjunction with Fronius Solar.web.
The Dynamic Peak Manager is a brand-new MPP sun-tracking algorithm that dynamically adapts its behavior when searching for the optimum working point. What's special is that the Dynamic Peak Manager regularly and automatically checks the complete characteristic and thus finds the Global Maximum Power Point (GMPP) in the case of partial shading.
With Multi Flow Technology, different AC and DC energy flows can be operated in parallel. On the one hand, this technology makes energy from the modules and the battery available to the home simultaneously. On the other hand, the energy from the modules can be fed into the battery and the mains at the same time. What's more, the battery can be charged from both the DC and AC sides (e.g. from existing photovoltaic systems or other energy sources such as wind turbines). The inverter is therefore also suitable for AC-coupled retrofitting. The inverter manages these energy flows to achieve maximum self-supply.
Fronius SuperFlex Design is a complex interplay of technical performance features that make photovoltaic plant design particularly flexible and straightforward. The main performance factors of the SuperFlex Design are: two MPP trackers combined with the high system voltage and wide DC input voltage range. What's more, each DC input, and therefore each MPP tracker, is capable of supporting the inverter's full power rating. Whether you're dealing with roofs with different orientations, shading one or two strings or using leftover modules, a Fronius inverter with integrated SuperFlex Design lets you cover all relevant design scenarios with a single inverter model for operational planning of photovoltaic installations.
The Full Backup option provides power to the entire household in the event of a power failure, for both single-phase and three-phase devices.
An emergency power supply is integrated as standard, providing power during power cuts, and ensuring that important loads can continue to operate in the event of a power failure.
Active cooling technology relies on one or more fans that not only avoid hot spots, but also regulate air circulation inside the inverter, keeping the power electronics at a low temperature. This has a positive effect on device life, optimizes yields and reduces costs. At Fronius, Active Cooling is standard technology in all devices.
