The Fronius Smart Meter TS 5kA-3 is a bi-directional three-phase energy meter designed to optimise the energy management of your photovoltaic installation. Thanks to its class 1 measurement accuracy and fast communication via Modbus RTU interface (RS485), this meter provides dynamic injection control that is far more efficient than traditional S0 meters.
The Smart Meter monitors your installation's energy flows in real time: solar production, household consumption, grid injection and extraction. This two-way measurement maximises the use of locally produced energy and reduces your dependence on the electricity grid.
Combined with the Fronius Solar.web platform, you can clearly visualise your electricity consumption via intuitive graphs accessible from your smartphone, tablet or computer. Precise plotting of your household's load curve helps you identify consumption points and optimise your usage.

Compact and easy to install, the meter mounts on a standard DIN rail in your electrical panel (3 modules wide). Its 3x8 digital touch screen displays measurement data in real time. Wiring is simplified thanks to screw terminals that support cross-sections from 1 to 4 mm² for the power lines.
