Wattuneed Mobile App Privacy Policy

The Wattuneed mobile application is published by Solar-Tech Engineering SRL, Rue Henripré 12, 4821 Dison, Belgium — VAT BE 0898.969.868 ("we"). It provides access to the tools and services of wattuneed.com.
Data collected by the app
The app does not collect any data of its own and contains no advertising or third-party trackers. It acts as a window to wattuneed.com online services:
- Customer account: if you sign in, your session and account data (email, name, addresses, quotes, projects) are processed by wattuneed.com under our general privacy policy.
- Geolocation: used only on demand ("My position" button) to centre the roof-analysis map. Your position is neither stored nor shared; the coordinates of the point you analyse are sent anonymously to our server to query the solar estimation service (Google Solar API) and may be kept in a technical cache.
- Camera: used only on demand to add photos to your pre-sales file. Photos are sent to your customer file on wattuneed.com and are not shared with third parties.
- Local storage: your latest analyses and preferences are kept on your device only and removed when you uninstall the app.
Data sharing
No data is sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. The only external processing involves the technical services required for operation (Google solar estimation, the European Commission's PVGIS production calculator), which only receive anonymous geographic coordinates.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and delete your data. You may delete your account and files by contacting us: info@wattuneed.com or +32 87 45 00 34.
Request deletion of your data (Wattuneed app)
Procedure: email info@wattuneed.com with the subject "Data deletion — Wattuneed App", from your account email address (or mentioning it). You may request deletion of part or all of your data, with or without deleting your account. We acknowledge within 72h and deletion is effective within 30 days.
Data deleted upon request: customer account (name, email, addresses, phone), solar studies and roof analyses, pre-sales files and uploaded photos, conversations with our assistants.
Data retained: accounting documents linked to invoiced orders are kept for 10 years as required by Belgian law, then deleted. Anonymous technical caches (roof analyses by coordinates) expire automatically within 90 days.
