V2C Trydan 22 kW EV charger - 10 m Type 2 cable
Trydan is a compact EV charger made in Spain for residential, workplace and photovoltaic charging. This configuration has a tethered 10 m Type 2 cable, three-phase 400 V supply and adjustable output up to 22 kW.
Smart charging and solar self-consumption
The charger automatically adjusts its output to the building load. The ControlBox and its clamp measure current in real time and reduce charging before an overload occurs. On photovoltaic installations, a second clamp dedicated to production is required to measure the available solar surplus accurately.
Solar modes can prioritise photovoltaic surplus or top it up from the grid when available power is too low. Configuration depends on the electrical layout, meter and inverter and must be validated during commissioning.
Direct integration with Deye inverters
Trydan and Trydan Pro can communicate directly with compatible Deye or Turbo Energy inverters over a Modbus RS485 link. The charger can then read real-time consumption, photovoltaic production and, depending on the model, battery data to match EV charging closely to the available solar surplus.
After wiring the A and B lines between the charger RS485 port and the inverter, select Turbo Energy / DEYE under Dynamic Power Control in V2C Cloud. This direct link may avoid extra clamps when the selected model exposes every measurement required by the installation.

V2C Cloud
The V2C Cloud app schedules sessions, tracks energy, sets current limits and displays charging history. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth make local setup and everyday control straightforward.
Installation and safety
Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician, with upstream protection and cable size selected for the network, cable run and local rules. A 6 mA DC leakage detector is built in. The IP54 enclosure is suitable for compliant indoor or outdoor installation.
Choosing the right variant
This reference is three-phase 400 V, up to 32 A and 22 kW. Actual output depends on the vehicle, grid contract and installation. Check the tethered cable length, optional MID meter and Pro functions before ordering.
Package and useful accessories
The charger includes the ControlBox and one measuring clamp. For a photovoltaic system with separate production measurement, add the linked V2C 100 A clamp. Single and double pedestals provide a floor-mounted option where wall mounting is not possible.
