Founded in 1945 as a one-man business, Fronius is now an integral part of the industry. Over the past three quarters of a century, we've grown as a family business from a regional specialist repair shop to a global player. Our story began with the company's founder, Günter Fronius, who earned his living doing maintenance work. Then came the idea that would set everything in motion: the qualified electrical engineer produced a device that recharged car batteries, allowing them to be used for longer.
