The Blue Smart IP22 charger is the new professional battery charger with integrated Bluetooth! The Blue Smart IP22 charger can be used with devices in your workshop and on your motor vehicles such as (classic) cars, motorcycles, boats and motorhomes.
With an efficiency of up to 94%, these chargers generate up to four times less heat than industry standards.And once the battery is fully charged, power consumption is reduced to 0.5 watts, almost five to ten times better than industry standards.
The seven-step charging algorithm gets the best out of your battery. The charger gives the battery the energy it needs, keeps it in top condition, and ensures better performance... and longer life.
The Blue Smart charger features a microprocessor-controlled "adaptive" charge management system. The "adaptive" function automatically optimizes the charging process according to how the battery is used.
Unlike other brands, the Blue Smart IP22 charger will attempt to recharge a deeply discharged battery by forcing its supply with a low current. Normal charging resumes as soon as sufficient voltage is applied across the battery terminals.
Sleep mode is activated when the solar battery has not been used for 24 hours. In standby mode, float voltage is reduced to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for a 12 V battery) to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week, voltage is raised to absorption level to "equalize" the battery. This function prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation, major causes of premature battery ageing.
LiFePOF solar batteries are charged using a simple bulk - absorption - float algorithm.
When NIGHT or LOW mode is selected, the output current is reduced to a maximum of 25% of the rated output, and the charger will be completely silent. NIGHT mode ends automatically after 8 hours. LOW mode can be switched off manually.
The output current will be reduced if the temperature rises to 50ºC, but the Blue Power charger will not fail.
