Smart Meter CHINT Single Phase with Current Transformer

The Smart Meter CHINT Mono + CT is a single-phase bi-directional electricity meter specially designed for photovoltaic installations fitted with a Solenso SLS or SLT router. Thanks to its external current transformer, it can accurately measure solar energy production, load consumption and energy exported to the grid.

Why choose a meter with a current transformer (CT)?

The CT model is essential in two situations:

• Direct connection is not possible: When direct connection to the electrical circuit is not possible for technical or safety reasons.
• High-power installations: For photovoltaic systems exceeding 5 kWp, where the currents measured exceed the limits of standard meters.
• Flexibility of installation: The CT allows simplified installation without interrupting the electrical circuit
• Improved accuracy: Measures up to 80A with an energy accuracy class of 0.5

Compatibility with the Solenso ecosystem

This meter is designed to work in perfect synergy with the Solenso DTU-SLS and DTU-SLT routers, which collect and monitor photovoltaic microinverters. Together, they form a complete system for monitoring and optimising your solar installation.

Complete Solenso solution: combine this meter with the Solenso Sol-H350 (350W) or SM900SG (900W) microinverters, the DTU-SLS router and benefit from precise monitoring via the dedicated application.

Modbus RTU communication for advanced integration

The CHINT Smart Meter uses the Modbus RTU protocol via an RS485 interface, an industry standard guaranteeing fast, reliable communication with the Solenso router. This connectivity enables :

Simple DIN rail installation

Compact and mounted on 35 mm DIN rail, the CHINT meter is easy to install in your electrical panel. At just 2 modules wide (36 mm), it fits even into panels with limited space. The current transformer is simply clamped around the cable to be measured, with no need to break the circuit.
