Optimise your three-phase installation without changing your meter

This pack combinesthe Easee Equalizer (Ref. 80110) and the Easee Amp measurement module (Ref. 80128). Together, they form the most efficient energy management system for your Easee charging point, specifically designed for three-phase installations.

This comprehensive kit enables your charging point to ‘communicate’ with your three-phase network to adjust the charging power on each phase in real time.







Why is this pack the solution for you?

The standard EaseeEqualizer is designed to connect directly to the digital communication port (known as port P1 in Belgium/the Netherlands or port HAN in other countries) of your smart meter.

However, this direct connection is not possible if:

  • In Belgium/Luxembourg: Your three-phase digital meter has not yet been activated, or you have an old analogue meter.
  • In France: You have an older three-phase electromechanical meter or a Linky meter (the Linky does not have a P1 port in the RJ12 format that is directly compatible).
  • Distance: Your meter is too far from your fuse box to connect an accessory.

This is where this pack comes in: instead of relying on a P1 port, the Easee Amp Three-Phase module (Ref: 80128) measures the current directly across your three phases using the supplied current clamps.





An all-in-one, ready-to-install kit

This pack combines the two essential components for smart three-phase energy management:

1. The Easee Equalizer (Ref. 80110)

This is the brain of the system. It communicates wirelessly with your Easee terminals. It allows you to adjust the charging power in real time and unlocks the Solar Charging function (charging via your solar panels).

2. The Easee Three-Phase Amp (Ref. 80128)

This is the advanced metering unit for three-phase networks. It is installed on the DIN rail of your switchboard and uses three current clamps to monitor the consumption of each phase. It transmits this crucial data to the Equalizer to ensure perfect balancing.

FAQ - Easee Equalizer & Amp Pack (Three-Phase)

1. Why is this pack essential for my three-phase installation without a P1 port? +
The standard Equalizer requires a P1 port (RJ12) to read data. If you have an old three-phase meter (analogue), a Linky (not directly compatible) or an unactivated smart meter, the terminal cannot determine your consumption. This pack uses the Easee Amp Three-Phase module to measure current directly across your three phases using the three current clamps supplied.
2. How does dynamic phase balancing work? +
In a three-phase system, the load must be distributed across three phases. The system monitors the consumption of each phase in real time. If a phase is close to overloading (for example, if you switch on a three-phase oven), the Equalizer instructs the hub to reduce the load power to prevent the main circuit breaker from tripping, whilst optimising the speed on the available phases.
3. Can I use my surplus solar power to charge my vehicle? +
Yes, this pack unlocks the Solar Charging function. The Equalizer detects when your solar panels are producing more energy than your home is consuming. It then redirects this surplus to your Easee charging point, allowing you to drive for free using solar power across all three phases.
4. Where and how is the Easee Amp Three-Phase module installed? +
The Easee Amp module is installed on the DIN rail of your electrical panel. The three current transformer (CT) clamps supplied must be clipped around each of the three main phase cables coming from the meter. The data is then transmitted to the Equalizer for analysis.
5. What is the range of the wireless communication? +
The Equalizer communicates with your charging points via Easee Link™ (long-range radio frequency) or via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. This avoids the need to run communication cables between your distribution board and your charging point, even over long distances, provided there is a minimum level of network coverage.
6. Is this pack compatible with all Easee charging points? +
Yes, this kit is compatible with the Easee Charge Up, Core, One, Max and Charge Pro models. It works with the entire Easee range to transform your charging point into a smart charging solution optimised for the three-phase grid.
