Designed with boat owners in mind, this 5-stage adaptive charger can supply either 30 A or 50 A to each of three battery banks. The Phoenix 1+1 model supplies 3 A to the starter battery, the rest to the house bank. 24 V models are available with 16/25 A charging capacity. With Bluetooth enabled, you can monitor the charger and set alarms directly from your phone. Dynamic, intelligent and adaptive charging features. For voltage- and temperature-compensated charging, order a Smart Battery wireless probe.

Designed for maintenance of a starter battery, the second output is limited to around 3 amps at a slightly lower voltage.
All outputs can supply the full rated output current.
The charger compensates for voltage drops on the DC wiring by slightly increasing the output voltage if the DC current increases. Please refer to the manual for further details.
When the battery is under little load (e.g. on a boat connected to the quay), the absorption charge phase is shortened to avoid overcharging. After a deep discharge, the absorption time is automatically increased to ensure that the battery is fully recharged.
If, to recharge a battery quickly, a high charging power is combined with a high absorption voltage, the Phoenix charger will prevent deterioration due to excessive gassing by automatically limiting voltage progression, as soon as the gassing voltage has been reached.
Storage mode is activated when the battery has not been used for 24 hours. In standby mode, float voltage is reduced to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for a 12 V battery) to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is raised to absorption level to "equalize" the battery. This function prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation, major causes of premature battery ageing.
An On-Off charger control function can be implemented by connecting a relay or an open-collector optocoupler output from a lithium-ion BMS to the remote control port. Alternatively, full voltage and current control can be performed via Bluetooth.
The system's remote on/off has two terminals: the remote H terminal, and the remote L terminal. A remote on/off switch or relay contact can be connected between terminals H and L. Alternatively, terminal H can be pulled up, or terminal L pulled down. For further details, please refer to the manual.
For wired data connection to a Color Control panel, PC or other devices. Please refer to the VictronConnect application in the Downloads/Software section of our website).
