Leapton N-Type 500Wp TOPCon bifacial
The Leapton N Type 500Wc TopCon bifacial solar panel is designed to offer exceptional energy efficiency thanks to its advanced technology. By capturing solar energy from both sides, this panel maximises energy production, increasing efficiency by up to 30% compared with traditional solar panels. With a power output of 500 peak watts, it is ideal for residential and commercial installations requiring high energy production. This solar panel stands out for its durability and reliability, being made from high-quality materials capable of withstanding the harshest weather conditions. This guarantees stable performance and a long lifespan, making it a wise investment for those looking to reduce their energy costs over the long term. In addition to its technical benefits, the Leapton N Type 500Wp panel helps to reduce carbon footprints, supporting the transition to renewable and sustainable energy sources. It is targeted at homeowners, businesses and solar farms that want to maximise their energy efficiency while making an environmentally friendly choice. In summary, the Leapton N Type 500Wp TopCon bifacial solar panel combines innovation, performance and sustainability, offering a superior energy solution for those looking to maximise their solar energy production while reducing their environmental impact.
The micro-inverter converts the energy produced by each solar panel into alternating current (AC) that can be used directly in homes or buildings. Unlike traditional inverters, which are usually installed in series with several panels, each solar panel is associated with its own microinverter. This optimises energy production, as the individual panels operate independently and are less affected by shading or malfunctions of a single panel. Microinverters also offer granular monitoring of the performance of each panel, making it easier to detect problems early and carry out maintenance. In this way, they help to increase the efficiency and reliability of solar systems.
IQ8 microinverters, designed for the latest generation of photovoltaic modules, offer unrivalled energy production and reliability, while meeting the strictest safety standards thanks to their rapid shutdown functionality.
CE-certified, IQ8 microinverters guarantee maximum safety without high-voltage direct current, eliminating the risk of fire.
Weatherproof with IP67 certification, IQ8 microinverters capture more energy even in low-light conditions thanks to Burst Mode technology.
With the IQ Gateway and the Enphase application, monitor production, consumption and energy savings in real time, and receive free software updates remotely.
The IQ8's plug-and-play system allows easy expansion to meet your growing energy needs. Type MC4 connectors and IQ cables make installation quick and secure.
Benefit from a 25-year limited warranty, ensuring the longevity and reliability of your solar investment. Choose Enphase IQ8 microinverters for an intelligent, high-performance and secure solar solution, ready for today and tomorrow.

Investment grants for self-consumption
The government is encouraging the installation of solar panels by offering a premium adjusted according to the capacity of the installation. However, it is subject to strict criteria, so only eligible households are eligible.
The self-consumption premium is conditional on photovoltaic self-consumption and the sale of the surplus, which is compulsory for designated purchasers, with tariffs reviewed quarterly. Opt for over-mounted solar panels on your roof, requiring the intervention of a certified professional and with a maximum output of 100 kWp. Ground-mounted panels are not eligible.
The premium for self-consumption depends on the size of your installation and varies every quarter. It is determined by four categories based on the peak power of the installation:
To sum up: a more powerful installation means a lower premium, which is why it's so important to optimise your self-consumption.
The premium rates for installations (from 1 November 2024 to 31 January 2025) are as follows:
To estimate your premium, multiply the rates by the capacity of your installation. For example, a 7 kWp installation would be eligible for €1,540 (€220 x 7kWp).
The Commission de Régulation de l'Énergie adjusts the premium for self-consumption on a quarterly basis according to the number of new applications for connection to the distribution network, such as Enedis. The current tariffs are available here
The application for the self-consumption premium is activated automatically once your photovoltaic installation has been connected. Once validated, the amount remains fixed despite the quarterly variations in tariffs.
The premium is paid by a designated buyer one year after commissioning, together with the income from the sale of the surplus, except for installations of more than 9 kWp, which receive 80% immediately and the rest over 4 years.
Remuneration for the sale of surplus electricity
Owners of self-consumption solar installations with surplus sales supply green electricity to neighbouring households by selling the surplus to designated buyers such as EDF OA. Enedis covers the connection costs, thereby encouraging the transition to renewable energies.
The amount granted for the purchase of surplus electricity depends on the installed capacity and fluctuates on a quarterly basis, defined according to four categories depending on the peak power of the installations.
The tariffs below (from 1 November 2024 to 31 January 2025) are as follows:
Once the contract is established, this tariff remains constant for a period of 20 years, covering the entire term of the agreement.
To benefit from self-consumption with sale of the surplus, the solar panels must be installed on the roof, with a connection to the electricity grid to inject the surplus. Isolated sites are not eligible. The surplus electricity produced is sold to a designated buyer if there is no storage capacity.
The application for the self-consumption premium is activated automatically once your photovoltaic installation has been connected. Once validated, the amount remains fixed despite quarterly variations in tariffs.
Make an initial declaration of work to the local council.
Hire an expert to install the solar panels.
Submit a connection request to the relevant authorities.
Draw up a contract with an obligated buyer.
The process for invoicing surplus electricity is quick and simple: once a year, on the anniversary date of the start of the contract, take a reading of your meters.
