SolaX X1 Boost 3.3 kW: the single-phase grid-tied inverter for multi-orientation rooftops

The SolaX X1-3.3-T-D is part of the SolaX Power X1 Boost range, designed specifically for residential solar installations where panels are arranged across two slopes or two different orientations. Thanks to its two independent MPPT trackers, each string is optimised separately, minimising losses due to shading or variations in sunlight.

Performance and reliability

With a maximum efficiency of 97.8% and a European efficiency of 97.0%, the X1-3.3-T-D ranks among the most efficient single-phase grid-tied inverters in its class. Its MPPT tracker boasts an efficiency of 99.9%, ensuring maximum extraction of the available energy from each string.

Fanless design – IP66 ruggedness

The X1 Boost operates using natural cooling (convection), with no moving mechanical parts. The result: a noise level of just 25 dB and an extended service life. The IP66 protection rating allows for installation both indoors and outdoors, even in environments exposed to rain or dust.

Connectivity options

The X1-3.3-T-D comes as standard with RS485, USB (firmware update) and DRM interfaces. The optional Pocket WiFi, Pocket LAN and Pocket GPRS modules enable connection to the SolaX cloud platform and the SolarMan monitoring system, accessible via a smartphone or PC.

Installation

The inverter is mounted on a standard wall bracket. Commissioning is simplified by the start-up wizard integrated into the LCD screen and by the password for accessing advanced settings (2014). Provide a suitable DC circuit breaker upstream (max. voltage 600 V DC) and an AC circuit breaker on the grid side rated for at least 16 A.
