The Sofar Solar HYD15KTL-3PH three-phase hybrid inverter (ref. HYD15KTL-3PH) is designed to generate, store and consume PV energy in a three-phase 230/400 V system, with an integrated EPS backup output featuring ultra-fast switchover (<10 ms).

Sofar HYD15KTL-3PH: the three-phase hybrid inverter for homes and small businesses
The Sofar Solar HYD15KTL-3PH is a 15 kW transformerless three-phase hybrid inverter, designed for photovoltaic installations connected to the 400 V three-phase grid with battery storage. It is aimed at high-consumption homes, small businesses, farms and microgrids seeking to maximise self-consumption whilst securing their power supply in the event of an outage.
Power and performance
With a nominal AC power of 15,000 W (16,500 VA peak) and a maximum efficiency of 98.2% ( 97.7% Euro), the HYD15KTL-3PH ranks among the most efficient three-phase hybrid inverters in its range. Its two independent MPPT trackers allow for the use of panel strings with different orientations or those that are partially shaded, without any loss of efficiency on the other MPPT.

Battery storage: exceptionally wide compatibility
One of the HYD15KTL-3PH’s key strengths is its battery voltage range of 180 to 800 V, making it compatible with both 48 V low-voltage batteries (Pylontech US2000C, US3000C, US5000, H48050) as with high-voltage batteries such as the Sofar BTS 5K (400 V – 5.12 kWh), expandable up to 40 kWh in 2.5 kWh increments.

The two independent battery ports allow two separate battery banks to be combined or capacity to be increased in 2.5 kWh increments. BMS management is automatic via CAN or RS485 — the inverter reads the parameters of the connected battery and adapts its charge/discharge strategy.
Integrated three-phase EPS backup – switchover < 10 ms
In the event of a mains power cut, the HYD15KTL-3PH automatically switches to EPS (Emergency Power Supply) mode in less than 10 ms — a delay imperceptible to almost all electronic devices. The unbalanced three-phase EPS output is capable of delivering up to 22,000 VA for 60 seconds to handle inrush currents at start-up (three-phase heat pumps, compressors, industrial motors).

Smart energy management modes
The integrated energy management system offers several modes configurable via the LCD screen or the app:
- Self-consumption mode: priority given to local consumption, battery charging with surplus, feed-in of the remainder to the grid
- Maximum feed-in mode: priority feed-in to the grid
- Off-grid/backup mode: autonomous power supply from the battery and panels
- Programmable time slots: set charging/discharging rules by hour, date or day of the week
- Multi-unit parallel operation: up to 10 HYD15KTL-3PH units in parallel for large installations

Surveillance and monitoring via SolarmanSmart

The HYD15KTL-3PH is designed for indoor or outdoor wall mounting (IP65). Its MC4-type DC terminals and 5P AC connectors simplify wiring. The LCD screen and built-in Bluetooth allow configuration without access to the web portal.
