The Sofar Solar 2700TL-G3 is a 2, 700 W single-phase grid-tied inverter from the TL-G3 range, offering the ideal power output for residential rooftops with 8 to 10 solar panels. It stands out from the lower-end models in the range thanks to an extended MPPT range up to 550 Vdc — allowing for longer strings or the use of high-voltage modules — as well as a recommended maximum PV power of 3,700 Wp.

SofarSolar 1.1K...3.3KTL-G3 is a polished, compact and lightweight solar inverter for smaller single-phase PV systems.
With an efficiency of up to 97.7%, it maximizes the energy yield of your PV system. The integrated zero export function allows the user to limit the power supplied to the grid by simply adding a current transformer to the system.
The inverter also comes with a WiFi key for easy connection to the SofarSolar monitoring portal.

Operating modes
A. Energy management unit
This control can be used to switch the inverter on/off via an external (remote) control.
B. Network reactive power supply
The inverter is capable of producing reactive power and can therefore inject it into the grid by adjusting the phase shift factor. Injection management can be controlled directly by the grid operator via a dedicated RS485 serial interface.
C. Limiting the active power injected into the grid
If enabled, the inverter can limit the amount of active power injected into the grid by the inverter to the desired value (expressed as a percentage).
D. Auto-reduction of power when the grid is overfrequent
When the grid frequency is higher than the limited value, the inverter reduces the output power, which is necessary for grid stability.
E. Data transmission
The inverter or a group of inverters can be remotely monitored using an advanced communication system based on the RS-485 serial interface, or remotely via WIFI/GPRS.
F. Software update
Support for local software updates via USB stick and remote updates via WIFI/GPRS.
