JNL Solar is primarily focused on new energies, with its core business being the research and development, manufacture and sale of crystalline silicon, silicon wafers, solar cells and solar modules.

Founded in 1985, JNL has a number of activities under its belt, providing services in the steel, energy and media sectors. The company manufactures lifting equipment, wire ropes, steel products and crystalline silicon solar panels. It also operates television networks, advertising activities and film productions. JNL is also involved in property development, logistics and transport.

JNL Solar also develops and operates photovoltaic power plants and can count on more than 8,000 employees and a turnover of 1.5 billion euros for all activities combined.
