Every photovoltaic system is unique. The yield of photovoltaic systems varies according to roof configuration, system orientation and different types of shading. The innovative Tigo TS4 platform makes it possible for the first time to flexibly equip each photovoltaic panel with an additional function. In the case of partially shaded systems, for example, only the relevant panels are equipped with the optimization function, since shaded panels are generally no more than 20%. With Tigo TS4, customers only pay for the function they really need.

OPTIMIZATION AS REQUIRED

Optimization is a Flex MLPE function available as an add-on unit (TS4-A-O). Design using unequal chain lengths, mixed orientations or mismatch zones. Install in shaded areas with reduced shrinkage ratios. In addition to optimization, the TS4-A-O provides module-level monitoring and rapid shutdown in compliance with NEC 2014, 2017 and 2020.
